Our Church & School Staff
Pastor Dan Helland has been the lead pastor at East End since January of 2005 when he relocated from the west coast where he had served ministry positions in Oregon, Washington and California since 1980. Pastor Dan attended West Coast Christian College in Fresno, California where he majored in music. Pastor Dan married Sue in 1985 and they adopted two children from China, Lauren born in 1998, and Lexee who was born in 2000. Pastor Dan serves not only as our lead pastor, but also as the administrator for East End Christian Academy. Pastor Dan has a passion to worship God, educate and disciple believers and reach out with love, acceptance and forgiveness to those who do not have a viable relationship with Jesus Christ.

Sue joined the ministry team at East End in a full time capacity in 2007. Sue is a graduate of Northwest University in Seattle, Washington. Sue has taught in many areas from pre-school through adult education forums. Sue has also lead children's choirs, youth choirs and adult choirs while at the same time she has led worship in a number of venues. At East End Sue has oversight of the music ministries and she teaches 2nd - 5th grades in our school. Sue is married to Pastor Dan (our lead pastor) and they have two daughters. Sue has a passion to lead people into worship and to teach at a level of excellence beyond our culture's expectation.

Pastor Matthew Boldizsar has been part of the ministry staff at East End since May of 2005 when he relocated from Oregon where he had served four years in youth ministries. Pastor Matt graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University. Pastor Matt is married to Ketura and they have three beautiful girls; Natana born in 2002, Jocelyn born in 2006, and Maddison born in 2007. Pastor Matt serves as our Assistant Pastor. He has oversight of our Student Ministries and he teaches at East End Christian Academy where he also serves as the Upper Grade Team Coordinator. Pastor Matt is an anointed young man who is blessed with many skills and is dedicated to the cause of Christ. He has a passion to see young people grow in God and be history-makers in the generation that they are a part of.

Joan has been a part of the East End team since 1993. She has served in the church office, school office and has taught pre-school. Joan is married to Bob and they have 8 children, 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Currently Joan serves as an Administrative Assistant for our church and school. Her portfolio includes our accounting office. Joan also teaches pre-school for our school. Joan has a heart for the Lord and a heart for people.

Tim joined the East End team full time in 2006. He relocated from Oregon where he had taught nearly every age of student from pre-school through high school in both religious and secular schools. Tim graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor in Mathematics education and is a few credits away from a Master's Degree. Tim has been married to Jen since 2004. They have a daughter (Jordyn) who was born in 2007 and a son (Aiden) who was born in 2009. Tim teaches in our school and he and Jen also coordinate the Sunday morning Children's ministries here at East End. Tim has a love for God and a passion for young people.

Tricia Dagliano has been a volunteer at East End Christian Academy since the school began in 2005. Currently she serves at East End as a Elementary Teachers aid. Tricia is married to Brian and the have two children (Tyler and Tucker). Tricia brings enthusiasm and dedication to the EECA team.
