East End Christian
Academy Preschool will offer a 3 year old preschool program, as well as
a 4 year old pre-k program. Each class will receive individualized
instruction in language arts (emphasizing phonics), math, science,
history, and Bible. The classes will combine for circle time, art, and
play time.
The preschool will
have a morning session, 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The children will
attend school Monday through Thursday.
We will have field
trips, parties, and FUN, as well as learning and growing academically
and spiritually.
Tuition is due and
payable on the first of the month. If a problem arises, please notify
the director to avoid being charged a late fee.
Please dress your
child comfortably for a variety of activities. Children will be using
paint, glue, etc., and playing indoors and out. Please mark all
outerwear with your child’s name. Please provide a change of clothing in
a bag clearly labeled with your child’s name.
Each day there will
be a specific time for a snack. You are responsible for sending your
child’s snack. Please do not send candy, unless it is a special
occasion, and PLEASE, NO GUM.
Any medicine sent to
school for your child must be clearly labeled with child’s name, date,
and dosage. Authorization form to dispense medication must be filled out
and signed.
Please notify your
child’s teacher if someone unfamiliar to us is going to pick him or her
up after school. This is very important. Without proper notification, we
will not release your child. In these instances, we will also require
identification.
Parents,
grandparents, etc. are welcome at all parties and school functions such
as field trips, programs, etc. We also encourage you to come and observe
your child at any time. If you have time and would like to come and
share a skill, story, artistic talent, etc., we would be delighted to
have you. Please check with your child’s teacher for scheduling
purposes.
Birthdays are
special. We welcome birthday parties at school. If you want to give your
child a party, please let your teacher know a week in advance.
Your child may bring
a toy to school but the school will not be responsible if it should get
broken. Your child will need to share the toy, and it will be put up
during class time. Please support your child’s teacher. Home and school should work together for the good of your child spiritually, emotionally, and academically. Please do not hesitate to come to the teacher or director with any concern you may have.
We’re looking
forward to a wonderful year. If you have any questions, please call at 804.795.9266 or
